An established consulting engineering firm seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team at their Columbus, Ohio headquarters. This firm provides a range of civil, water/wastewater, environmental, transportation, mechanical, and electrical planning, engineering, and construction management services to public and private sector clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design engineering and development of specifications for electrical power distribution, facilities lighting, SCADA, and control systems for wastewater, water, and industrial facilities.
• Design electrical systems for highway and street lighting within transportation infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver project solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout all phases of engineering design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly within construction and trades-related projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Ohio or eligibility to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
