Your Role
As an Area Sales Manager in our dynamic team for Nordic Separation & Flow Technology, you will:
- Sell GEA's separation technologies and solutions within our areas of renewable resources, chemicals and New Food.
- Generate requests for quotations and manage a significant sales pipeline.
- Nurturing customer relations through direct sales and ensuring satisfaction.
- Represent GEA at trade fairs, manage customers via CRM systems, and take an active part in the entire sales process from pre-sales to deal closing, including tracking activities and visitor reporting.
- Support cross sales and service for our product lines within renewable resources, food, chemicals and New food.
- Interpret customer needs, meet sales targets and coordinate closely with the support team in the division.
- Customer visits around Norway, up to 60% of the time.
Qualifications
It is very important to us that you have a good understanding of the process industry and that you have worked with it in the past.
- Minimum of 5 years in transactional sales of capital goods, with a strong preference for familiarity with specified industries or GEA products.
- A degree in process, chemical or mechanical engineering, or significant relevant experience.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and fluency in Norwegian and English; German is an advantage but not a requirement.
- A proactive, high-energy approach to sales with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
