Technical Assistant for the CEO & President

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Assistant to support the CEO & President of our partner. This role is crucial in providing high-level technical and administrative assistance, ensuring the smooth operation of executive functions and contributing to strategic projects within the oil industry. The ideal candidate will be a Kuwaiti national with a strong background in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering, a solid grasp of project management, and the ability to work effectively with senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive technical and administrative support to the CEO & President, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling confidential information.
- Assist in project management tasks, including planning, coordination, and execution of key initiatives within the oil industry.
- Conduct detailed research and analysis to support decision-making processes and strategic planning.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and communications, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and practices.
- Collaborate with various departments and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, demonstrating excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Adapt to challenging conditions and be willing to work extra hours as needed to meet deadlines and project goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering; International experience is highly preferred.
- Experience: 4–6 years of experience in the oil industry, with a focus on project management and working alongside senior management teams.
- Language Skills: Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills required).
- QHSE Knowledge: Familiarity with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment standards and practices.
- Nationality: Must be a Kuwaiti national.
