We are a leader in the development, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of medium-voltage frequency converters with power capacities up to 150 MW. Our solutions cater to applications such as railway power supply, AC excitations, and static compensation systems, serving utility providers and industrial clients worldwide.
To strengthen our service team, we are seeking an experienced Service Control Engineer with a strong interest in power electronics and control systems. If you have a quick grasp of complex issues and a structured, proactive approach to work, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting (both remotely and on-site), including component replacements.
- Commissioning and customer training on-site.
- Providing technical support to clients and collaborating with control systems engineers, project managers, systems engineers, and mechanical teams.
- Creating technical documentation of completed work.
- Evaluating, planning, and executing component/system replacements for medium-voltage frequency converters.
- Supporting the sales team during the concept and bidding phases.
- Assisting in programming and documenting control software and preparing specifications for manufacturing and testing.
- Conducting PC updates to ensure cybersecurity compliance.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with strong experience in process control and software development (including 800xA Control Builder or similar structured text programming).
- Expertise: Advanced knowledge in control systems and power electronics.
- IT Skills: Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols.
- Languages: Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Travel: Willingness to travel internationally, primarily within Europe (~70%).
- Personal Attributes: A responsible team player with strong communication skills, quick learning ability, and a readiness to adapt to new techniques, applications, and processes.
- Experience: Prior work in a multicultural, international environment is a plus.
