Finance Manager
About the job
The Finance Manager will be integral in overseeing the financial operations of our fashion brand with a strong focus on e-commerce. This role is responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance to ensure the company’s financial health. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in finance within the fashion industry, particularly e-commerce, and will collaborate closely with the executive team to support profitability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
- Support the budgeting process, including the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Provide insights into market trends and competitive dynamics to aid financial planning.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare accurate financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow
statements.
- Present financial reports to the executive team and other stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis to inform business decisions, including profitability assessments, cost
control, and investment evaluations.
E-Commerce Financial Management
- Oversee the financial aspects of e-commerce operations, including revenue forecasting, margin
analysis, and cost management.
- Monitor online sales performance and offer recommendations to enhance profitability and optimize
customer acquisition costs.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns
aligned with financial objectives.
Cash Flow Management
- Manage cash flow efficiently, including working capital, payment cycles, and investment opportunities.
- Monitor and manage financial risks related to currency fluctuations, inventory, and supplier payments.
Cost Control & Profitability
- Implement cost control measures across the organization, focusing on sourcing, production, and
logistics.
- Evaluate and optimize cost structures to improve margins in retail and online sales channels.
- Lead efforts to improve operational efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenditures.
Financial Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and reporting requirements.
- Manage the external audit process and liaise with auditors for accurate and timely reporting.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, encouraging professional development and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance on financial best practices and industry-specific challenges.
- Ensure the finance department operates efficiently with clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as investors, suppliers, and external partners to ensure financial
transparency and support business growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with banking partners and financial institutions for effective financial
management.
- Provide financial insights to support negotiations with suppliers and service providers.
Technology & Systems
- Oversee financial systems and tools to improve reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
- Leverage technology to enhance financial operations, including e-commerce platforms, ERP systems,
and data analytics.
Qualifications & Experience
Education : ACA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA (Part-Qualified or Qualified)
Experience : Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the fashion & textile industry.
Skills : Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting. Experience with financial software. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits
Tax-Free Monthly Salary: Rs. 175k per month
Bonus: One guaranteed annual bonus, subject to performance and achievement of KPIs
