Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Pricing Executive/Asst. Manager for our Freight Forwarding, specializing in import/export operations via air and sea. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies, analysing market trends, and ensuring competitive pricing for our services

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage pricing strategies for air and sea freight services, considering market conditions, competition, and customer requirements.
• Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and customer feedback to optimize pricing and improve profitability.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
• Negotiate with customers and vendors to achieve mutually beneficial pricing agreements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate pricing documentation, including quotations, contracts, and rate agreements.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and profitability assessments to inform pricing decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and market fluctuations that may impact pricing.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in pricing or a related role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with a focus on import/export operations via air and sea.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective pricing strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with pricing software or tools.
• Strong understanding of Incoterms, tariffs, and other relevant regulations governing international trade.
