We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Equities and Forex Dealer. Key Responsibilities – Equities and Forex Dealing, Trade Execution, and Market Analysis
- Execute trades in equities and forex on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and best execution practices.
- Monitor global equity and currency markets, interpret real-time data, and provide timely insights to clients and internal teams.
- Manage order flows, maintain accurate trade records, and ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with the research, sales, and operations teams to support client needs and business development objectives.
- Assist clients with order placement, market updates, and trade-related queries, delivering a professional and responsive service experience.
- Support risk management by adhering to limits and escalating unusual trading activity as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including workflow enhancements and the adoption of new dealing technologies.
Essential Skills and Experience – Equity and Forex Trading Knowledge, Analysis, and Communication
- Proven experience in equities or forex dealing, trading, or a closely related financial services role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, market news, and economic indicators.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using trading platforms, market data terminals, and order management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic market environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications and Desirable Attributes – Equities, Forex, and Financial Markets Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
- Relevant financial certifications (e.g., CFA, CISI, or equivalent) are advantageous.
- Deep understanding of equity and currency product types, market mechanics, and regulatory frameworks.
- Advanced numeracy and IT skills, with experience in Microsoft Office, trading platforms, and market analysis tools.
- Commitment to ethical behaviour, confidentiality, and professional standards in all dealing activities.
- Enthusiasm for learning, adaptability to evolving technologies, and an openness to ongoing professional development.
