Country Trade Compliance Officer – Nordics
Ensure trade compliance and regulatory alignment across the Nordic region while optimizing customs and export control processes.
This is a strategic compliance role focused on implementing international trade controls and optimizing supply chain efficiency. As a Trade Compliance Officer, you’ll guide teams on customs, export controls, and sanctions compliance across Nordic operations.
Your Responsibilities:
Implement and manage global trade compliance programs
Ensure local alignment with EU export/import regulations and sanctions
Provide internal training and support to supply chain and commercial teams
Engage in audits and help optimize automated trade tools (SAP/SAP GTS)
Collaborate across legal, logistics, and procurement functions
Ideal Candidate:
Degree in law, trade, economics, or logistics
Experience in EU export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance
Proficiency in English and Norwegian; other Nordic languages are a plus
Familiarity with HS/ECN classification and material master data is valuable
