About the Role
As a Service Tendering Specialist (m/f/d), you will support the sales team by preparing and managing competitive service tenders, bids, and quotations within the field of power system automation. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen and requires close collaboration with international colleagues, including engineering, supply chain, and project management teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level professional to grow within a global leader while contributing directly to customer success in a fast-changing energy market.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Milan (preferred), Rome, or surrounding areas (hybrid). Relocation support available within Italy for exceptional candidates.
Workload: Full-time
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Up to €60,000 gross per year + 5% bonus

What You’ll Do
Prepare and deliver tenders, bids, and quotations tailored to customer requirements.
Ensure proposals are technically sound, cost-effective, and well-documented.
Manage all aspects of bids, including technical, commercial, financial, and contractual elements.
Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to align offers with specifications.
Evaluate supplier offers from technical and commercial perspectives.
Identify risks in tenders and contribute to risk reviews.
Support sales with technical input, building strong customer relationships.
Work closely with an international hiring manager (Germany/Switzerland) and global colleagues.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
3–5 years of experience in tendering, bidding, or technical sales, ideally in the energy sector.
Technical background in power system automation (e.g., SCADA, RTUs, IEDs, protection systems).
Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
Comfortable working in an international and multicultural team.
Language skills: English (mandatory); Italian or Spanish (preferred).
