Region Stockholm is seeking a Lead ServiceNow Developer (Kompetensnivå 5) for a full-time consultant assignment at Lindhagensgatan 98, Stockholm. The assignment runs 24 September 2025 – 31 December 2025, with an option to extend up to 6 months.

The Role

As Lead Developer, you will be the technical authority for Region Stockholm’s locally hosted ServiceNow platform. You’ll design, configure, and optimize services, ensure knowledge transfer across teams, and play a central role in delivering robust IT services for critical public operations.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as technical lead for ServiceNow development and configuration in an on-premise setup

• Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders across Region Stockholm

• Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring long-term competence building

• Contribute to service optimization, stability, and governance of the platform

Who You Are

• You hold the following valid ServiceNow certifications:

  • System Administrator

  • CIS – ITSM

  • CIS – Discovery

  • CIS – Event Management

  • CIS – Service Provider

  • CIS – Strategic Portfolio Management

  • Application Developer

• You have documented experience in regional public sector ServiceNow projects (minimum 6 months in the past 3 years)

• You’re a proven technical leader who thrives in complex environments

Nice-to-Have (Merit-Based Experience)

Documented in CV & references (may impact evaluation positively):

• Experience in regional public sector assignments

• Experience with older ServiceNow instances in on-premise setups

• System/service management in public sector on-prem environments

• Extent: 100%

• Period: 2025-09-24 – 2025-12-31 (extension up to 6 months possible)

• Remote work: Mainly on-site, with some flexibility
