Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Start Date: ASAP (flexible due to senior profile)
Duration: 6 months from start date, with possible extension
Workload: 100%
Workplace: Presence at Arenastaden required, ideally more than 3 days per week
Assignment Overview
Our large bankclient is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their HR AI journey. The consultant will co-develop a dedicated AI infrastructure tailored for SEB HR, providing hands-on training and mentorship. The goal is to empower SEB’s internal teams by building capabilities, enabling operational independence, and migrating existing AI models into a newly built, scalable environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and machine learning engineering workflows
- Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience building and debugging ML pipelines
- Skilled in knowledge transfer: able to clearly explain best practices, architecture decisions, and scalable ML setups on GCP
- Team-oriented with a mindset that supports shared goals, ownership, and fostering learning within the team
Technical Skills – Deep Practical Knowledge Of:
- Vertex AI: Training, deployment, monitoring, and orchestration of ML models
- BigQuery: Scalable data analytics and warehousing
- Cloud Storage: Managing raw and processed data storage
- Dataflow: Data preprocessing and pipeline orchestration
- Compute Engine / TPUs / GPUs: High-performance model training
- Cloud Functions / Cloud Run: Automated model serving and workflows
- IAM: Access control for secure ML pipelines
- Monitoring & Logging: Observability of ML systems
- Artifact Registry: Container and artifact storage
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform or Deployment Manager for managing GCP resources
- CI/CD: Cloud Build and GitHub Actions integration
- Authentication & Access: OAuth 2.0, IAM roles, and service accounts
