DevOps Engineer – 12-Month Consulting Assignment (Hybrid, Oslo)
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer for a 12-month consulting engagement in Oslo, Norway, with the possibility of extension. The role is central to supporting our client’s ongoing digital transformation and ensuring high system reliability in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Duration: 12 months (extendable)
Eligibility: Must reside in Norway with a valid work permit
About the Client
Our client is a global leader in digital transformation, delivering innovative technology solutions across banking, healthcare, retail, and industrial sectors. They are known for combining innovation, scale, and security to deliver measurable impact through technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance across environments
- Provide production support and handle incidents proactively
- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to improve delivery efficiency
- Manage and optimize cloud/on-premises infrastructure for cost, security, and scalability
Required Skills & Experience
- Norwegian citizenship (mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Strong background in production support and incident management
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
