Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician with a strong background in refinery or petrochemical plant maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of mechanical maintenance tasks including troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls of rotating and static equipment, with a focus on pumps and industrial boilers used in lubricant production.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems within the lubricant refinery.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul various types of pumps (centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, screw, etc.).:
- Install, align, and maintain mechanical seals (single, double, cartridge-type).
- Operate and maintain thermic industrial boilers, including feedwater systems, burners, and safety control devices.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Support plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and actively participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Assist in developing and improving maintenance schedules and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- ITI Fitter or equivalent technical certification.
- 7–10 years of proven experience in refinery or petrochemical plant maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with rotating equipment, pumps, seals, and boilers.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and practices.
- Age Requirement: 35 – 40 years.
