About the Role
We are seeking a Supplier Technical Engineer to support supplier quality, reliability, and continuous improvement across the supply chain. This role works closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues, qualify new products, and implement robust quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate supplier quality issues and provide clear conclusions and corrective recommendations
Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives and continuous improvement programs
Ensure supplier reliability through audits, inspections, certifications, and corrective actions
Define and execute short-term and long-term quality action plans with suppliers
Implement and maintain manufacturing process controls and quality standards
Support qualification of new suppliers and new products using structured quality processes
Maintain accurate quality documentation and supplier records
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
Proven experience in Supplier Quality Engineering
Strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems and standards
Familiarity with investment casting and airfoil components (blades, nozzles)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Experience
Hands-on experience working with global suppliers
Background in energy, aerospace, or heavy manufacturing environments
Experience supporting supplier audits and corrective action processes
