Location: Nazimabad S.I.T.E Area, Karachi (Onsite)
Timings: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

Role Overview
We are hiring a Fabric Incharge for one of our clients who will lead and manage the entire fabric department for women’s apparel production, ensuring timely availability of fabrics, compliance with Company's quality standards, and optimal inventory control. This role requires strong leadership, cross functional coordination, and hands-on oversight of fabric inspection, inventory, and operational teams to support smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the complete fabric department, including the fabric inspection team, data entry operators, and supporting labor staff.
Source and procure fabrics in line with seasonal collections, design specifications, and production requirements.
Oversee fabric inspection processes to ensure all fabrics, trims, and accessories meet Company's quality standards in terms of texture, color, print, durability, and performance.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve any quality-related issues in fabrics, trims, or accessories, and ensure corrective actions are taken to meet company standards.
Maintain accurate fabric inventory records, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage or deterioration.
Track fabric consumption and usage trends to minimize wastage and improve material utilization.
Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure fabric availability aligns with production schedules and collection timelines.
Supervise fabric receiving, issuing, and documentation processes to ensure accuracy and traceability.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting related to fabric procurement, inventory, and consumption.
Stay updated on market trends, new fabric developments, and innovations relevant to women’s apparel.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Proven experience in fabric management, textile sourcing, or inventory control within the apparel industry.
Strong knowledge of fabrics used in women’s apparel, including quality parameters, textures, prints, and seasonal trends.
Hands-on experience in fabric inspection and quality control processes.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office.
Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and vendor communication abilities.
