Join as a Senior IS Application & Automation Specialist – develop, customize, and integrate Aucotec EB to streamline engineering workflows onsite in Ludvika, Sweden.
Location: Ludvika, Sweden (100% on-site – no remote work allowed)
Scope: Full Time (100%)
Period: 2026-04-01 to 2027-03-31 (Extension possible)
Language: English (fluent in speaking and writing – mandatory). Swedish is advantageous.

Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior IS Application & Automation Specialist for one of our clients in Ludvika. In this hands-on role, you will develop customizations, scripts, plugins, and integrations within Aucotec Engineering Base (EB) to support digital engineering workflows for electrical and systems teams. You will ensure data quality/compliance, troubleshoot issues, customize models/templates/symbols, and improve EB usage across projects in a high-tech environment. This position requires strong EB expertise, programming skills, and knowledge of electrical design workflows.
What You’ll Do
Develop scripts, plugins, and automation in Engineering Base (.NET/C#)
Customize EB data models, templates, symbol libraries, and workflows
Integrate EB with external systems (ERP/PLM, databases, SAP, Teamcenter, COMOS, AVEVA)
Ensure engineering data quality, consistency, and compliance
Support users, troubleshoot application issues, and perform root-cause analysis
Improve EB efficiency and workflows for electrical/systems engineering
Who You Are
Must-Have Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related field
3–5 years of work experience in relevant field (or another IT degree with 15+ years)
Strong hands-on experience with Aucotec Engineering Base (EB)
Proficiency in C#, VBA, .NET, SQL, and data automation
Understanding of electrical design workflows (I/O lists, schematics, wiring diagrams)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory)
Valid SSG-Entré certificate
Nice to Have
Experience in HVDC, substations, energy systems, or industrial automation
Knowledge of IEC standards (e.g., 81346, 61850)
Experience integrating EB with SAP, Teamcenter, COMOS, AVEVA, etc.
Fluency in Swedish is considered an advantage.
