Role Overview
We are looking for a structured and driven Production Process Engineer – Oil & Process Systems to support the VP & Oil team for one our clients in Ludvika. This is a temporary assignment covering an extended parental leave, with the possibility of extension. In this hands-on role, you will map current processes (oil, kerosene, process water) based on existing documentation, identify gaps, and update documentation to reflect reality. You will work with flows, P&ID diagrams, CAD tools, process safety, and control technology in a manufacturing environment. This junior-to-mid level position requires practical experience as a production technician, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work independently and in teams.
What You’ll Do
Map current processes (oil, kerosene, process water) using available documentation
Identify gaps in documentation and update to match actual operations
Work with flows, P&ID diagrams, and process documentation
Use CAD or similar tools for technical drawings and updates
Support process safety and control technology activities
Organize and maintain accurate production/process documentation
Collaborate with the team while also working independently
Who You Are
Must-Have Requirements
2-6 years of work experience within the relevant field and a bachelor or master’s degree in a related area, or another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field.
Experience as a production technician or similar role
Good knowledge of flows, documentation (e.g., P&ID), and CAD or similar tools
Interest and documented experience in process safety and control technology
Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English (mandatory)
Valid SSG-Entré certificate
Structured, organized, and enjoys both teamwork and independent work
Ability to work 100% on-site in Ludvika
Nice to Have
Experience with vapor phase processes and oil systems
Background in manufacturing or transformers production
