About the role
Are you seeking an opportunity to shape the quality of impactful digital banking products? We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join a User Experience Product Acceptance team within a leading financial institution in Cyprus. In this role, you will support the reliability and performance of web and mobile solutions within an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure structured testing, continuous improvement, and consistently high-quality digital delivery.
What you'll do
Review and analyze business and system specifications
Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to ensure feature quality
Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases
Perform functional testing across web and mobile platforms
Conduct cross-browser and cross-device validation
Execute API testing and validate system integrations
Record, track, and manage defects in line with quality standards
Support troubleshooting and assist in root cause analysis
Perform regression, post-release, and post-implementation testing
Contribute to quality assurance throughout the full SDLC
Define and monitor key product quality KPIs
Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to senior management
Who you are
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience as a Quality Assurance Test Engineer
Demonstrated experience in developing detailed test plans and structured test cases
Strong ability to identify, document, and troubleshoot software defects
Proven experience with test management tools
Hands-on experience with API testing tools, including Postman and SOAP UI (mandatory), as well as familiarity with Swagger and WireMock
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative delivery models
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
High level of accuracy, diligence, and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
