About the Role
Join a thriving Denver law practice as a Labor & Employment Associate focused on the management side. You’ll balance litigation and advisory work, handling cases that range from wrongful termination and harassment claims to wage & hour matters. This role gives you the chance to guide clients through complex employment challenges while shaping strategy from the earliest pleadings to trial preparation.
What You’ll Do
Take ownership of management-side employment law matters, representing employers across diverse industries
Oversee litigation from initial filings to motions, discovery, depositions, and hearings
Provide actionable advice on employment policies, compliance, and workplace best practices
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents with precision
Work directly with partners and clients to craft strategies and analyze complex legal issues
Participate in hearings and trial prep, with opportunities to contribute in first-chair responsibilities
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of experience in management-side labor & employment law
JD from an accredited law school
Colorado bar admission or a UBE score of 276+
Strong experience in both employment litigation and counseling
Proven ability to draft pleadings, motions, and manage discovery
Self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
Not immediately seeking partnership or rainmaker expectations
Bonus Skills
Experience with NLRA, collective bargaining, or wage & hour class/collective actions
California bar admission
Deposition experience
