Associate Document Controller – R&D

Role Overview
We are hiring an Associate Document Controller for one of our clients in Västerås. In this entry-level role, you will manage documentation deliverables for MACH R&D projects and products. You will review documents against requirements, interact with engineering teams, ensure proper version control and storage in document management systems, monitor project documentation delivery, and provide clear reporting and stakeholder follow-up. You will work with low-complexity projects and tenders and contribute to compliance with company procedures. This position is ideal for candidates with some experience in document control, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in documentation management processes.
What You’ll Do
Manage documentation deliverables according to project and company requirements
Review documents against requirements and coordinate with engineering teams
Handle document storage, version control, receipt, registration, numbering, filing, and issuance
Monitor planned documentation delivery and provide regular status reporting
Act as the main contact for stakeholders regarding documentation requirements
Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards
Support tendering, engineering, and operations teams with document control tasks
Who You Are
Must-Have Requirements
At least 3 years of work experience in document management, document control, or a related field
Holds a bachelor's degree in engineering.
Ability to work efficiently with computer systems and document management/database tools
Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory)
Valid SSG-Entré certificate
Ability to work hybrid (3 days onsite + 2 days remote within Sweden)
Nice to Have
Familiarity with xECM, InEight, or similar document management tools
Strong written and verbal skills in Swedish (meritorious)
