We are now looking for a Health & Safety Specialist for our client in Ludvika.
About the role
General Environmental and Employee Health & Safety work encompasses activities related to the environment including the broader community impacted by environmental hazards and employees including: Creating and implementing health, safety, occupational and environmental programs to prevent injuries and illnesses within the workplace and environmental accidents. Inspecting workplace and environmental incidents in accordance with company procedures and implementing corrective actions. Ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements related to environmental and employee health and safety and identifying areas for improvement. Developing and managing an environmental and employee health & safety training plan; Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organization.
The assignments are 100% on-site in Ludvika
Assignment Period: April 2026 – April 2027,with the possibility of extension

What You’ll Do
Develop structures and routines for HSE work within the projects you support.
Establish HSE procedures for interfaces between projects and ongoing operations.
Conduct quality checks, including spot audits, safety inspections, and internal reviews of safety coordinators (BAS-P/BAS-U), to improve and streamline HSE processes.
Prepare reports and compile statistics on observations, near misses, and incidents to identify trends and support preventive actions.
Ensure incident reporting is carried out according to company procedures.
Perform safety inspections of shared areas across the site.
Who You Are
Extensive experience of HSE within construction projects and knowledge of relevant Swedish legislation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams.
Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional environments.
Fluency in both English and Swedish is required.
