Work Type – Full time from office – 5 working days
Role - Intermediates & Chemicals Sourcing in India
Position – Strategic Sourcing Specialist
Experience – 3-4 years in similar function
Education – Master’s degree in chemical/pharmaceutical field preferred, PGDM/MBA will be an added advantage
CTC – upto 10lpa (depending on current ctc)
Other key points -
Fluency in English, Negotiation skills – the ability to conduct advanced trade negotiations, including multi-level negotiations
Communication Internationally & Locally
Analytical skills
Excellent/proficient knowledge of the applicable Procurement Procedures
Proven track record and success in the Procurement Area
Stress resistance and constant flow of information
Ready to travel for business
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Ensuring, within the managed category in the Polpharma Group, constant and optimal availability of production material sources in accordance with specifications, while optimising purchasing costs, while maintaining the required quality and security of supply.
Independently conducting procurement processes in accordance with the applicable procedures in the field of searching and selecting multiple suppliers, conducting an offer campaign, evaluating offers, negotiating prices and delivery conditions, selecting suppliers and initiating the process of their qualification of multiple suppliers to reduce the risk of deliveries.
Supporting with our knowledge and experience the achievement of the Group's defined strategic goals in the area of procurement by acting as an expert in the process of developing and implementing procurement strategies, as well as managing the process of implementing these strategies, taking into account the expectations of Internal Customers.
Preparing a purchase budget for materials based on standard prices/costs, determining standard prices/costs and obtaining the information necessary to determine them correctly; monitoring budget execution within a managed category.
Building a professional level of service for Internal Customers in the Group by ensuring two-way communication, managing contacts with Internal Customers and suppliers (including cyclical supplier evaluations).
Optimisation of working capital by extending payment terms for purchase transactions.
