QC Inspector (Plastic Manufacturing)
Join us as a QC Inspector (Plastic Manufacturing): ensure product quality at every stage, document findings, collaborate on improvements, and uphold ISO standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Inspection Process
Inspect output samples using appropriate methods (e.g., comparison to standards, dimensional measurement, functionality checks).
Perform quality inspections for incoming, in-process, and outgoing products to ensure compliance with specifications.
2. Documentation
Maintain accurate and organized documentation of inspection activities.
Record inspection results, including details of rework, rejected, or on-hold products.
3. Equipment Handling
Operate measuring instruments such as calipers, height gauges, and other QC tools.
Ensure proper usage and upkeep of quality control equipment for smooth operations.
4. Data Management
Collect, compile, and analyze statistical quality data for reporting and improvement purposes.
5. Communication & Collaboration
Communicate inspection findings, deviations, and corrective actions to relevant teams.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure quality compliance across materials, production, and finished goods.
6. Process Improvement
Support new product development, including test methods and inspection plans.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., new technologies, inspection methodologies).
7. Equipment Maintenance
Ensure calibration of measurement tools is up to date.
Coordinate repair and maintenance of inspection equipment when required.
8. Non-Conformance Management
Identify root causes of product defects and rework issues.
Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for defective or returned products.
9. Procedures Development
Develop and update work instructions, quality standards, and inspection procedures in line with customer requirements.
10. Complaint Handling & Improvement
Assist in investigating customer and internal complaints.
Recommend corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement.
11. Compliance & Audits
Participate in internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 standards.
