Senior BI Developer – PowerCenter & Snowflake Migration
Join as a Senior BI Developer in Hamar: help migrate critical data services from Netezza to Snowflake using Informatica PowerCenter in a senior role with high focus on quality and delivery.
Location: Hamar, Norway - Primarily on-site (minimum 3 days per week)
Scope: Full Time (100%)
Period: 04 May 2026 – 31 December 2026 (Option for extension up to 6 months)
Language: Norwegian (Proficient / Fluent – mandatory)

Role Overview
We are looking for 1–2 experienced Senior BI Developers / Data Engineers for one of our clients to support the migration from on-prem Netezza to Snowflake on AWS. You will primarily test and verify existing data services developed in Informatica PowerCenter against Snowflake, identify required changes, and help optimize the integration using the custom PowerCenter Snowflake connector.
Key Responsibilities
Test and validate existing data services against Snowflake
Identify and implement necessary changes in data services or the Snowflake connector
Support rewriting of data services into new development tools in the future
Perform troubleshooting, error correction, and documentation updates
Contribute to knowledge transfer and training of internal staff
Required Qualifications
Strong experience with development in Informatica PowerCenter
Extensive experience with SQL development
Good understanding of data migration processes
Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
Fluent in Norwegian (spoken and written – mandatory)
Nice to Have
Experience with running PowerCenter sessions or workflows against Snowflake
Experience with Python
Knowledge of data virtualization tools (Tibco Data Virtualization or Denodo)
