Operation Executive - Printing in Petaling Jaya: a hands-on role shaping thesis docs, binding, and QC with a friendly team. RM1,800 + RM200 allowances.
📍 Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor
💰 Salary: RM 1,800 per month + RM 200 Allowances
🕘 Working Hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm (Monday - Friday)
Job Description & Key Responsibilities
Document Preparation
Format, impose, and finalise thesis documents using MS Word, PDF, and Adobe Acrobat
Ensure correct layout, margins, pagination, and compliance with university requirements
Printing Operations
Operate digital printers and large-format plotters to produce high-quality outputs
Handle both text and image-based printing tasks
Binding & Finishing
Carry out various binding methods including:
Hardbinding (with gold lettering)
Softbinding (perfect binding)
Comb binding
Trim and complete documents to professional standards
Quality Control
Inspect printed materials for errors, alignment, and colour accuracy
Ensure all outputs meet submission standards
Customer Service
Advise students on paper types, binding options, and file formats
Manage deadlines efficiently, including urgent requests
Machine Maintenance
Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on printing and binding equipment
Requirements & Skills
Technical Skills
Proficient in MS Office (especially Word)
Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is an advantage
Experience
Previous experience in a print shop, commercial printing, or publishing is preferred
Attention to Detail
Strong accuracy in reviewing and finalising documents
Education
Minimum SPM or equivalent
Diploma in a related field is an added advantage
Communication
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
Able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers
