Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to lead procurement activities within Oil & Gas projects. This role is responsible for driving procurement strategies, managing supplier performance, and ensuring project delivery within budget and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute procurement strategies for projects
Manage RFQs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations
Oversee purchasing budgets and cost control
Lead and guide Buyers within project teams
Manage supplier performance, risks, and compliance
Ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams
Support global sourcing and vendor development initiatives
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
Minimum 4–8 years of procurement experience (preferably in O&G / EPC projects)
Strong experience in supplier negotiation and contract management
Proven ability to manage procurement within project environments
Leadership and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
