Founding Sales Representative – Construction Tech
Location: West Sweden / Gothenburg Region (Field-based role with frequent customer visits)

About the Role
We are hiring for one of our clients, an early-stage technology company building AI-powered surveillance and security solutions for construction sites. They are now looking for their first sales hire — someone who wants to take ownership, build relationships in the construction industry, and help shape the company’s commercial growth from the ground up. This is not a traditional sales role with an established playbook. You will work closely with the founders and take full ownership of the sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to closing deals and supporting customer onboarding. The role is ideal for a strong hunter with existing construction industry relationships who enjoys building long-term business and wants the opportunity to grow into a key commercial leader.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and open new customer accounts within the construction industry
Build relationships with site managers, project managers, and construction decision-makers
Own the full sales cycle from first contact to signed agreement
Conduct field meetings, customer visits, and product presentations
Drive outbound sales and business development activities
Help build sales structure, go-to-market strategy, and commercial processes
Collaborate closely with founders on growth initiatives and market expansion
Support customer onboarding and long-term account development
Requirements
Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
Strong outbound sales and hunter mentality
Experience selling into the construction industry
Comfortable working directly with site managers and construction leaders
Existing network within construction or related industries
Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Willingness to work in a fast-moving startup environment
Based in West Sweden or within commuting distance to the Gothenburg region
Meritorious / Nice to Have
Experience selling security solutions, surveillance systems, access control, equipment, staffing, technical services, or related solutions
Experience from construction tech or industrial sales environments
Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping build a company long-term
Interest in ownership/equity opportunities
