Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, target-driven, and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead sales and business development activities across the North Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, promoting the company's medical device portfolio, building strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders, and achieving assigned sales targets. This role requires extensive field engagement and a strong understanding of the healthcare and medical devices market.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by management.
Promote and sell the company's medical devices portfolio to hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and healthcare institutions.
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand market presence within the assigned territory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, biomedical engineers, procurement departments, hospital administrators, and other key decision-makers.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for healthcare professionals.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare and implement territory sales plans to maximize revenue and market penetration.
Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to closing deals and post-sales support.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate sales records, customer information, and activity reports using CRM tools and company systems.
Participate in industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and customer meetings to strengthen brand visibility.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
4–5 years of proven experience in medical device sales (mandatory).
Prior experience managing and covering the North Region, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, and surrounding areas.
Strong understanding of healthcare procurement processes and hospital sales environments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Preferred Skills:
Established network within hospitals, healthcare institutions, and key healthcare professionals in the North Region.
Experience with capital equipment, diagnostic devices, or other medical technologies.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
