Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain to support and optimize global supply chain processes and enterprise applications. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT, driving continuous improvements across Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, logistics, warehousing, transportation, inventory management, procurement, and related system integrations. This is a business-facing role requiring strong functional expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience delivering supply chain transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Process Improvement:
Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams to understand business needs and identify process improvement opportunities.
Analyze current business processes and design future-state solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
Lead functional design across the Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle, including order management, pricing, shipping, fulfillment, invoicing, and billing.
Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements gathering sessions.
Document business requirements, process flows, user stories, and functional specifications.
Develop business cases and recommend process and technology improvements.
Oracle EBS Supply Chain Support
Serve as the functional expert for Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules, including Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, Shipping Execution, and Warehouse Management.
Translate business requirements into functional designs and system solutions.
Support application configuration, testing, deployment, and user adoption initiatives.
Collaborate with technical teams to implement enhancements and resolve production issues.
Support supply chain operations including distribution, fulfillment, transportation, warehouse operations, inventory management, procurement, and international shipping.
Systems Integration:
Design and support integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platforms.
Manage inbound and outbound inventory synchronization, shipment processing, Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs), and transaction integrity across systems.
Coordinate integration requirements, testing, and deployment activities.
Support customer and supplier EDI transactions, trading partner onboarding, and exception management.
Collaborate on CRM and eCommerce system integrations to ensure seamless order lifecycle processing.
Data, Reporting & Analytics:
Partner with business teams to define KPIs, dashboards, and reporting requirements.
Support reporting and analytics initiatives to improve operational visibility and business decision-making.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across integrated systems.
Project & Change Management:
Participate in or lead medium-to-large technology and business transformation projects.
Support project planning, prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and deployment activities.
Develop training materials and support organizational change management initiatives.
Promote governance, documentation standards, and process consistency across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Supply Chain functions.
Strong knowledge of Order Management, Distribution, Logistics, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Order-to-Cash processes.
Experience supporting multinational or global business operations.
Excellent business process mapping, requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Technical Skills:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12), particularly:
Order Management
Inventory
Purchasing
Shipping Execution
Warehouse Management
Experience supporting ERP integrations with WMS, 3PL providers, and logistics platforms.
Strong knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), including order, acknowledgment, shipping notice, and invoice transactions.
Experience with system testing, UAT coordination, and implementation support.
Familiarity with supply chain reporting, analytics, and data management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting Oracle Fusion migration or transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of international shipping, trade compliance, customs documentation, and cross-border logistics.
Experience integrating ERP systems with CRM and eCommerce platforms.
Working knowledge of project management methodologies and change management practices.
