We are looking for a Systems Architect to join our client, operating in technology driven EV segment, where you'll spearhead the development of a cutting-edge platform designed to revolutionize the automotive industry by enabling OEMs to harness the power of SDV (Software-Defined Vehicles). Your role will involve leading the creation of a microkernel operating system specifically crafted for automotive use, emphasizing safety, E/E architecture, real-time operating systems, and intricate knowledge of system internals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a robust microkernel OS for automotive functions, focusing on inter-process communication (IPC), scheduling, memory management, and security.
- Collaborate closely with the Product team to devise technical solutions for realizing the product vision.
- Work with peers to design the technical architecture and create an Execution Plan.
- Implement and execute the Execution Plan according to automotive industry standards.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration and high performance across the technology stack.
- Lead architectural discussions, making strategic decisions aligned with automotive trends like Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) and High-Performance Computing (HPC).
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, fostering innovation and excellence.
Qualifications & Required skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in operating system development with expertise in microkernel architectures.
- Proficient in C and C++, with a strong understanding of low-level hardware interactions and high-level system frameworks.
- Experience with automotive ECUs and familiarity with ISO 26262 standards.
- Experience with OS virtualization and hypervisor technologies in embedded or automotive systems.
- Familiarity with QNX, Integrity, or similar automotive-focused operating systems.
- Knowledge of current automotive technology trends, including autonomous driving and vehicle electrification.
- Understanding of service-oriented architectures (SOA) and their applications outside automotive contexts.
- Comfortable working as an Individual Contributor in a flat hierarchy.
- Cross-industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to adapt and integrate cross-industry technology solutions into the automotive domain.
