Job Description:

We are looking for you as a Tendering Specialist (m/f/d) at our Mannheim location.

As a Tendering Specialist, you will be part of the Grid Automation Europe Tendering Team. We operate in a dynamic and expanding market environment and are eager to strengthen the team with your expertise.

Your Responsibilities:

• Create commercially, contractually, and technically optimized high-quality offers in accordance with our customers' requirements.
• Define the scope of supply and services for the offers.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain Management to obtain offers from subcontractors.
• Conduct cost calculations and determine costs, margins, and sales prices in cooperation with the sales team.
• Ensure timely submission of offers and coordinate that all necessary contributions are available in the required quality and on time.
• Provide technical support to sales in the early project phase and assist in contract negotiations.
• Prepare proposal documents and materials for internal risk reviews and approval for submission.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification, ideally in the field of energy technology.
• Good technical understanding of grid automation, focusing on substation control technology, protection, and control technology.
• Good knowledge of the market in the field of grid automation.
• Previous work experience and a strong track record in a similar field.
• A solid understanding and previous experience in bid preparation and commercial processes are advantageous.
• Language skills: Fluent German and good English skills are required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and participate in customer meetings.
