JD of Factory Manager / Plant Manager

Job Summary: 

The Factory Manager/Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the

operations of our manufacturing facility. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of production supervisors, engineers, and support staff. 

The Factory Manager/Plant Manager ensures that production processes deliver products of the highest quality in a timely and cost-effective manner. 

This position also involves strategic planning, resource allocation,

and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Oversight:

o Manage day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant.

o Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and

optimize production efficiency.

o Monitor production metrics and implement process improvements as needed.

2. Team Leadership:

o Lead and motivate a diverse team of production supervisors, engineers, and

support staff.

o Provide coaching, training, and performance management to ensure team

members reach their full potential.

o Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

3. Quality and Safety Compliance:

o Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

o Implement and maintain safety protocols to create a safe working environment

for all employees.

4. Strategic Planning:

o Develop and execute strategic plans to support business growth objectives.

o Collaborate with senior management to align manufacturing strategies with

overall company goals.

5. Resource Management:

o Manage budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation within the

manufacturing plant.

o Optimize inventory levels and logistics to minimize costs while maintaining

adequate supply levels.

6. Relationship Management:

o Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers,

customers, and regulatory agencies.

o Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: BE/ ME- Production

• Proven five years of experience as a Factory Manager, Plant Manager, or similar role

in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and health & safety

regulations.

• Excellent leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and develop

teams.

• Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
