Role: Lead Quality
Reporting to: Head Quality (GM)
Location: Sinnar, Nashik
Purpose
Bearing business is growing, hence need a lead quality role to handle the function effectively. The Major responsibilities will be maintaining & improving QMS throughout the organization, improve customers connect and ensure production & supply of zero defect quality products
Education Qualification: B.E., B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Technical & Professional Knowledge required:
• IATF 16949 2016/ ISO 9001 2015
• Quality core tools: SPC,MSA,FMEA,APQP,PPAP
•7QC tools,8D methodology, problem solving skills and WHY WHY analysis
• DOE
Knowledge of Bearing Manufacturing Processes e.g. Grinding, Super-finishing, Assembly along with bearing reliability requirements. Additional experience on water pump is preferable
Experience required
12-15 years of experience in bearing industries e.g. INA, SKF, FAG, NBC etc.
Handling customer complaints and customer audits
Must have led a team in the quality department
Exposure to receiving, In-process, final quality & supplier quality
Should have worked on QMS, IATF and ISO
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure Quality production & supply of zero-defect quality products.
• Effectiveness of QA & QC activities.
• Collaborate with team in ensuring adherence of standard process
• Sustenance & improvement of QMS throughout the organization
• Drive cost saving projects at various levels in the plant
• Implement a robust Kaizen/ Quality Improvement culture
• Ensure all the employees in lab & quality function to follow the safety practices established
• Responsible for developing direct online suppliers, establishing basic quality systems. & supplier development
• Organize daily quality meetings & coordinating participation of all department for quality issues solution.
• Responsible for receiving, in-process & final inspection
• Supplier rating monitoring and improvement plan adherence to improve the supplier.
• Continuous improvement in Process rejection & rework, trend monitoring and action on priority issues CAPA action.
• Strengthening the Process audit & PDCA closure effectiveness for audit observations.
• Developing the QA team for effective handling of customer issues, inhouse issues & process deviations.
