Automation Sales Engineer
Job Scope:
- Proactively manage and develop a predefined customer portfolio.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Utilize consultative selling through virtual visits (video/phone/email) to increase turnover and market share.
- Achieve agreed targets for turnover, profitable growth, and TCO elements.
- Build trust and deeply understand customer profiles, needs, and requirements.
- Assess customer needs and present product/service benefits.
- Develop knowledge of decision-makers and focus customer requirements.
- Meet milestone targets with customers.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date customer data in Festo’s systems.
- Handle contract renewals, price negotiations, and volume discounts for customer retention.
- Report on relevant customer activities and developments.
- Develop proactive action plans on KPIs and targets in consultation with management
Requirements:
- Vocational education (bachelor’s degree) preferred in technical engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical)
- Microsoft office, SAP, internal Sales platforms
- Fluent in English and respective local language skills
- 3-4 years of relevant business experience necessary.
- Strong performance and problem-solving orientation
