Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using IBM Sterling tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Develop and maintain EDI maps, business processes, and trading partner setups.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues related to IBM Sterling applications.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for existing solutions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
- Optimize performance and ensure reliability of Sterling applications.
- Stay updated on the latest IBM Sterling and related technologies.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Sterling File Gateway, and IBM Sterling Secure Proxy.
- Strong knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (e.g., AS2, SFTP, FTP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Groovy) and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with XML, XSLT, and other data transformation technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
