Field Engineeer  - Cementing

Location : Kuwait

Job Execution and Planning
1- Prepare and execute cementing jobs using the DEE cycle, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements.
2- Develop and implement cementing design programs, including slurry and spacer designs, based on wellsite conditions.
3- Provide on-site technical guidance during operations, addressing challenges such as HPHT wells, reservoirs, and lost circulation.
4- Conduct pre- and post-job analyses to optimize service quality and operational performance.

Technical Support, Service Delivery and Documentation
1- Perform technical evaluations of cementing proposals, tenders, and well programs. Design jobs and suggest well-engineered, cost-effective solutions in close collaboration with lab and operational teams.
2- Maintain detailed records of chemical inventory, operational data, and service quality metrics.
3- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports for internal teams and clients.
4- Lead the implementation of advanced technologies, such as self-healing cement systems and loss-prevention spacers.
5- Stay updated on cementing software and operational tools, applying them extensively to develop customer solutions and proposals.
6- Support field operators through continuous training and technical guidance to improve job results and service quality.
7- Forecast chemical and casing equipment requirements such that orders are placed in sufficient time for deliveries to meet forecasted job dates.

Customer Relationship Management
1- Promote the company’s products and services to current and prospective clients at all times.
2- Address client queries, resolve operational issues, and provide innovative, tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
3- Follow up with existing customers and build relationships with new prospective clients to expand business opportunities.
4- Maintain continuous feedback loops with customers to evaluate the performance of services and products.
5- Collaborate with drilling and workover engineers to optimize cementing solutions.

Vendor and Supplier Management
1- Identify and establish communication with new vendors and suppliers to introduce cutting-edge technologies to the company.
2- Liaise with Supply Chain Team for transfer of technical knowledge gained from the vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers, ensuring proper documentation and filing is provided and company standards are followed.

Operations and Quality Assurance
1- Coordinate with operations personnel to evaluate and improve the quality of services performed.
2- Establishes company’s Operations Manual, recommending enhancements as necessary.
3- Plan, supervise, and coordinate job execution on-site, ensuring adherence to technical, quality, and safety standards.
4- Track asset management, accounting, and warehousing to support operational efficiency.
5- Ensure company and regulatory standard (API etc) compliance by implementing the Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT), self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement
1- Address specific customer problems and recommend state-of-the-art technologies and solutions.
2- Keep the management updated with the latest industry technologies, trends, and best practices.
3- Promote teamwork among operations personnel and drive collaborative improvement initiatives.

Tender and Proposal Management
1- Prepare, process, and negotiate tenders for services and products, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company objectives.
2- Compile detailed tender documents and manage related administrative processes.
Safety, Compliance, ESG initiatives and Reporting
3- Ensure compliance with company and client quality standards, HSE regulations, and operational policies.
4- Actively participate in HSE programs, risk assessments, and safety training initiatives.

Experience and Qualification:

1- Bachelor’s Engineering in Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum, preference will be given to Masters degree.
2- Relevant certifications in oilfield services, project management is a plus.Minimum of 10 years of experience in oilfield services, with exposure to technical support, operations, and customer engagement.
3-Proficiency in industry-standard engineering tools and software, particularly in cementing and pumping services.
4- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
5- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and build client relationships.
