Role: Product Manager- Hand Tools
Sub Function: Business Development
Reporting to: Head-(HT PTA PTM)
Education Qualification: B.Tech (Mechanical) and or Specialization in Hand Tool
Technical & Professional Knowledge required: 'Exposure in Cutting Tools, Abrasives, Hand Tools, Construction tools.
Experience required: 10-15 Years
Location: Thane, Mumbai
Purpose:
To expand the Hand Tools product range, expand business into industrial and Automotive segment and grow HT business in Hardware distribution channel
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate and work closely with Sales and Marketing Team , Engineering teams to design and develop New Products. Launch of new products with support from Marketing team.
- PM’s to regularly gather market intelligence on competition on the product range, Pricing, Product performance and Branding etc.
- Work with Marketing & Sales teams for Packaging (including new packaging development), Pricing and Promotion Schemes to grow the Business.
- PM’s will work with E-Commerce Team for Sales Growth of respective product lines in E-Commerce channel both in India and Abroad.
- PMs to support Sales & Marketing on Participation of Exhibitions/Trade shows/Seminar etc.
- Work with Engineering Team on Capex to propose and launch new product lines. Finalization of plant & Machinery (Greenfiled or Outsourced)
- Work with Sourcing to identify new vendors and reduce input Cost including Packaging cost reduction.
- Participate with Sourcing & Engineering on Cost Optimization negotiation meeting with Vendors and Ancillaries.
- Product Managers and Strategic Alliance Teams will work together to Develop Large Account Customers and Coordinate activities such as Plant visits of Customer, Pricing and Presentations to secure the business.
