Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care to patients. You will perform basic nursing care activities for
patients and assist in ward administrative functions to facilitate smooth operations in inpatient care - Record vital signs, assist in wound dressing, perform blood glucose testing and specimens collection, assist patients with general hygiene and in other nursing procedures as required
- Perform admission, transfer and discharge of patients
- Perform any other supportive duties as required
- Engage patients and visitors to understand their needs
- Perform ward administration work such as coordination of various services, inventory management, and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Education level: SPM
- Nursing Certificates: Not mandatory if candidate has experience in ward care, but certified PCA/NA/HA is preferred.
- Having 2 years of experience in Nursing Aide such as Caregiver or Healthcare Assistant in hospital/nursing home/medical centre
- Have knowledge and practical skills in Bedside care and Palliative care
- Proficiency in English is a must
