SAP SD Consultant

Job Details

  • Location: Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany.
  • Travel Requirement: Yes – international travel within Europe (approx. 1–2 weeks every 3 months). No company car provided; travel is organized with the roll-out team.
  • Home Office: 1–2 days/week possible.
  • Languages Required: German (C1/C2), English (B1/B2).

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive process and system support for countries in the SD/LE area.
  • Carry out customizing/system adjustments and implement business requirements in SAP.
  • Collaborate on system development and programming implementation.
  • Act as an internal consultant for key users worldwide, including conducting workshops and training based on the train-the-trainer concept (remote and on-site).
  • Deliver 2nd and 3rd level support.
  • Plan, conduct, and support system testing.
  • Prepare and lead SAP rollouts, taking responsibility for assigned countries.
  • Conduct and support data migrations.

Must-Haves

  • Solid experience in SD customizing.
  • Professional experience in SAP customizing in general.
  • Strong interest in communication and training of key users.
  • 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in PS (Project Systems) and LE (Logistics Execution) modules.
  • Experience in international roll-out projects.
