Education Qualification: B.E/ B,Tech (Mechanical/ Electrical)
Experience required:
- 2-3 years in automation/ machine building / SPM manufacturer.
- Establish industry 4.0 solution for Energy / Production / Process Monitoring system
- Project management
- People management
- Data analysis
Technical & Professional Knowledge required:
- Manufacturing process HT, Grinding, Assembly
- Lean Manufacturing, OEE, TPM, Six Sigma
- PLC Programming (Read / basic edit) - Mitsubishi
- Communication protocols Modbus RTU / Modbus TCP
- OPC UA / MTLINKi
- CNC communication - Siemens 840D, Fanuc Oi mate
- Microsoft Power Platform Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate
- Business acumen (Leadership)
- Strong analytical abilities
Purpose:
The Role is responsible for driving implementation of IIOT/ Industry 4.0 solutions. This role is responsible to drive Productivity Improvement, Manufacturing Cost Reduction, Quality Improvement, Process Automation projects , layout changes
Roles & Responsibility
- Identify potential avenues of Productivity, Cost reduction, Quality improvement by deployment if Industry 4.0 solution.
- Design Industry 4.0 solution. Evaluate possible ideas & Interact with vendors & evaluation to propose best solution to senior management.
- Prepare SOW/ SOR, Project charter / Business Case / CAPEX- Project planning, Scheduling, Budgeting, Execution, Control & Monitor, Closure.
- Execute digital transformation strategies for Connected plant operations.
- Lead data capturing activity from various available controller & make them available at Edge gateway.
- Validation of data coming from machine. Training supervisor, operators for industry 4.0 solutions.
- Support Manufacturing Engineering team for various Cost reduction, Productivity improvement, Quality improvement projects.
- Deep understanding of the latest technology trends and leading products for plant services and solutions.
- Develop thought leadership assets, articulate / envision the Future Factory
- Should identify and implements automation projects for de-skilling and ergonomical enhancement.
- Should develop and installs of special purpose machine as per CSR.B8
- Responsible for implementation of projects related to LCA, Enhancement in ergonomics etc
- Responsible for driving ongoing improvement of products, services or processes through incremental and breakthrough improvements.
- Manufacturing Cost Optimization- Accountable for implements of lean safety, 5S, Kaizens, Pokayokes & Continuous improvement for process optimization
