Role: SECTION INCHARGE PRODUCTION 

Designation: Deputy Manager

Reporting to: Head Production

Location: Bangalore 

Education Qualification: B.E / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

Experience required : 8 ~ 10 Years 

Technical & Professional Knowledge required: High Mix Low Volume Machining parts production and Processes 

Domain/ Functional skills required: CNC Turning, Milling, Grinding, etc., Production Scheduling, Machine Loading

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Leading the production shop floor supervisors to assure the safe, qualitative and quantitative production targets including Zero Incident, assuring Zero Defects, OTD >98 % per agreed time to time production plan(s) and schedules, 100% Inventory accounting and reconciliation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

1 Create Machine loading & Scheduling as per the PPC / MRP Demand Requirements 

2 Assure Achieving Qualitative & Quantitative production per Customer OTD targets 

3 Ensure and report WIP Inventory Quality and Accuracy ( Perpetual and Physical Count Cycle) 

4 Assure Required Setters and Operators availability and attendance regulation 

5 Conformance to Production Work Order On Time Delivery as per Original Promise 

6 Ensure Customer Order On Time Delivery as per Original Promise 

7 Assuring to Meet Agreed OEE Target through Monitoring, Initiating actions and follow up and Reporting the impacts 

8 Work together with Inter functionals Viz. PPC, SALES, Engineering, Quality to identify Production Risk and Mitigate 

9 Assuring Engineering Documents and Records Availability 

10 Drive Kaizen (Safety, People, Skill, Talent, Process, Quality, Setup Change, Tool Cost and etc) 

11 Following, Driving, ensuring Quality Management System and Customer Specific Compliances 

12 Agile Reporting and communication of Performance, Progress, Escalations to Superior/ Management
