📍 Location: 100% Remote (Must reside in New York, Boston, or Washington, DC)
About the Client:
Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking an experienced "IT Project Manager" to join its Global IT PMO team. This is a critical role responsible for managing complex IT projects that support the firm's operations and strategic objectives. We are looking to fill this position quickly and are seeking candidates with a strong background in a law firm environment.
About the Role:
As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of technology projects from initiation to completion. You will apply project management best practices to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires a deep understanding of software development lifecycles and a proven ability to lead and motivate project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for various IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Utilize and apply project management best practices and methodologies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure the team adheres to established methodologies.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular status updates and risk assessments.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate, adhering to SDLC and ITSM policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in managing IT projects and/or programs.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
- Expert knowledge of project management best practices.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/SCRUM, ITSM policies, and customer service standards.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced proficiency with Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, Portfolio, and Structure.
- PMP, CAPM, CSM, or similar certifications are preferred.
