Lead Production Planning & Control (PPC)

Role: PPC Manager / Lead
Reporting to: HEAD OPERATIONS
Location: Bangalore
Education Qualification: B.E / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
Experience required: 8 ~ 10 Years
Technical & Professional Knowledge required: High Mix Low Volume Machining parts production and Processes
Domain/ Functional skills required: CNC Turning, Milling, Grinding, etc., Production Scheduling, Machine Loading
Purpose:Leading the production planning to assure the OTD target per customer, qualitative and quantitative production Scheduling including Zero Stock out for Safety Stock, OTD >98 % per agreed time to time production plan(s) and schedules, 100% Inventory accounting and reconciliation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish & Evaluate Master Production Schedule to OTD and Production Value
- Assure Convert the Master Production schedule into Machine Loading / Subcontracting Processes
- Monitor, Measure the Production Schedule Progress and Expedite
- Ensure and report WIP Inventory Quality and Accuracy (Perpetual and Physical Count Cycle)
- Monitor and report Conformance to Production Work Order On Time Delivery as per Original Promise
- Ensure Customer Order On Time Delivery as per Original Vs. Latest Promise
- Monitor, Measure, Initiate delivery failure corrective actions with apropirate responsibility
- Work together with Inter functionals Viz. PPC Team member (KAM's), SALES, Engineering, Quality to identify Production Risk and Mitigate
- Assuring committed production Value is achieved on daily, weekly and monthly per plan
- Drive Kaizen (Scheduling, People, Skill, Talent, Process, Quality, Setup Change, Tool Cost and etc.,)
- Following, Driving, ensuring MPS, and Customer Urgent (Critical and Line down) orders expedited
- Agile Reporting and communication of Performance, Progress, Escalations to Superior / Management
