About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced "Rehabilitation Manager" for one of our clients , to lead and optimize their therapy programs in La Quinta, California.
This critical leadership position oversees the delivery of comprehensive rehabilitation therapy, including speech therapy, to frail, elderly participants. The manager will ensure regulatory compliance, staff excellence, and alignment with overall clinical objectives.
This role requires a unique blend of clinical knowledge in therapy disciplines and strong administrative acumen in business planning and budget management.

Key Responsibilities:
The Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for coordinating the policies, objectives, initiatives, and programs for the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services.
Program Management & Oversight:
- Coordinate policies, objectives, initiatives, and programs for the delivery of comprehensive rehabilitation therapy, inclusive of speech therapy.
- Provide relevant program knowledge, analytical leadership, administrative guidance, and advice in the day-to-day management of therapy programs.
- Ensure regulatory statutes and rules for the practice of rehabilitation services, PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), and ADHC (Adult Day Health Care) regulations are strictly followed.
- Oversee contract management for speech therapy services as needed.
Clinical & Operational Leadership
- Oversee the performance, mentoring, and development of the rehabilitation therapy staff.
- Manage business planning and budget development for the entire rehabilitation department.
- Ensure the therapy team effectively assists participants and therapists in preparation for appointments.
- Supervise staff carrying out pre-determined treatment programs as delegated by supervising therapists.
- Conduct home visits as required to oversee therapy services in the home setting, manage equipment set-up, or provide in-person home treatments.
- Regularly communicate with the Center Director and Clinical Services Director regarding strategic staffing needs, changes in facility needs, or updates to procedures/policies.
Qualification & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy.
- Rehabilitation Experience: A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated rehabilitation experience.
- Clinical Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience in Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy necessary to treat frail, elderly participants effectively.
- Supervisory Experience: A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience with proven capacity to mentor and develop team members.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: Market competitive.
- Relocation: Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates moving to the La Quinta, CA area.
- Time Off: 17 days of Personal Time Off (PTO) plus 12 observed holidays annually, in addition to sick time.
