Job Overview
We are hiring a Mill Operator on behalf of our client, a well-established organization in Kuwait’s oil and gas sector. The role involves operating and maintaining critical production equipment used for processing high-value materials such as Barite and Bentonite in a safety-driven industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor mill machinery using SCADA/control panel systems, adjusting parameters as required.
Operate and maintain crushers to achieve defined crushing and production targets.
Conduct routine inspections, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of mills, crushers, conveyors, and hoppers.
Supervise hopper filling with specified raw materials, ensuring accuracy and quality compliance.
Transfer crude materials to mills via conveyor belt systems.
Set up and operate mills for Barite, Bentonite, Calcium, Marble, and similar materials.
Load bulk trucks with finished materials while maintaining weight and quality standards.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions or failures promptly to the reporting manager.
Maintain accurate operational logs, downtime records, and production data.
Prepare and submit daily production and incident reports to the Mill Supervisor.
Candidate Requirements
Mechanical Diploma or equivalent technical qualification (preferred).
Mandatory SCADA experience in monitoring and controlling industrial machinery.
Minimum 5–6 years of hands-on experience as a Mill Operator / Crusher Operator, preferably in the oil & gas or industrial minerals sector.
Strong understanding of mill operations, crushers, conveyors, and material handling systems.
Ability to read and interpret operational parameters, alarms, and production data.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Strong safety awareness and compliance with industrial HSE standards.
Willingness to work morning and evening shifts.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: 250 – 300 KWD per month (approx. USD 650 – 950)
