We’re looking for a Human Resource Business Partner for our client’s sites in Albert Lea, MN or Faribault, MN, supporting multi-shift operations and delivering hands-on HR leadership across the plant.
The Role
As an HR Business Partner, you’ll be the primary HR contact across all shifts—building trust, supporting employees, and enabling managers to execute people processes effectively. You’ll collaborate closely with the HR Manager on compensation, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, ensuring the site runs smoothly and stays aligned with corporate HR standards.
What You’ll Do
Maintain a visible HR presence across all shifts and departments.
Participate in routine team and DDS meetings to stay aligned with floor activities.
Develop and administer wage & salary programs, job analyses, evaluations, and surveys.
Support the annual performance review process and advise leaders on talent growth potential.
Assist in employee relations initiatives designed to maintain a positive, union-free environment.
Ensure full compliance with employment laws regarding wages, hours, benefits, and hiring.
Serve as an internal consultant for managers on HR policy interpretation and employee matters.
Collaborate with Corporate HR and escalate to HR Director/legal when needed.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (preferred).
HR certification (preferred).
5+ years of HR experience within food specialty ingredient manufacturing (required).
Strong understanding of compensation programs, performance management, and compliance.
Comfortable working across multiple shifts in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Proactive, responsive, and highly collaborative with strong communication skills.
What You’ll Get
