Senior Digital Transformation Manager (Level 4)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly strategic and forward-thinking Digital Transformation Manager for our client to lead the digitalization and automation agenda within the PGHV Breakers Unit. This key management role is pivotal in defining, executing, and monitoring the unit’s digital roadmap, aligning with global objectives and business priorities.
The successful candidate will be accountable for building and leading a specialized team, implementing robust IS program management methodologies, and driving the adoption of cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies—including Industrial IoT, AI, and secure automation platforms—to achieve operational excellence across manufacturing, operations, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
I. IS Program & Portfolio Leadership (Manager Level 4):
- IS Program Management: Accountable for the planning, coordination, and overall management of the IS program and project portfolio within the PGHV Breakers Unit, ensuring delivery to agreed targets (in time, in budget, and at quality).
- Methodology & Governance: Responsible for supporting and implementing a robust and flexible IS program/project execution methodology (including SAFe principles where applicable) for use across the organization.
- PMO Leadership: Leads and mentors the specialized digital transformation team (PMO team), monitoring the IS project portfolio delivery according to agreed targets, identifying potential risks, and proposing mitigation actions. Acts as the escalation point for resolution.
- Strategy Alignment: Responsible for interaction with functional and business unit leadership to develop a project portfolio that aligns with the overall PGHV Breakers strategic vision and business priorities.
II. Digital Transformation & Innovation:
- Strategy Definition: Define and execute the digital transformation strategy for the PGHV Breakers Unit, ensuring alignment with business goals and global objectives.
- Team Building: Build and lead a high-performing team focused on automation, digital innovation, and smart manufacturing.
- Industry 4.0 Implementation: Drive the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, including Industrial IoT (IIoT), AI, and cybersecure automation platforms, to enhance efficiency, visibility, and data-driven decision-making.
- Logistics Digitalization: Lead the digitalization of logistics and supply chain flows, introducing smart logistics solutions, real-time tracking, and predictive analytics.
- Operational Excellence: Champion the integration of Business Intelligence (BI) analytics to foster data-driven decision-making and operational excellence, supporting both production and operational teams.
- Culture & Collaboration: Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and execute opportunities for digital value creation.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Mandatory Language Requirements
- Swedish (Skallkrav): Fluency in both written and spoken Swedish is mandatory.
- English: Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
Education and Professional Experience:
- Option 1 (Experience-based): 5–8 years of work experience within the relevant field (Digital Transformation, Project Management, Industrial Automation) including leadership/management, combined with a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Engineering or IT).
- Option 2 (Extended Experience): Another IT degree with more than 15 years of work experience within the relevant field.
- Technical Foundation: Engineering or IT degree is required, with a strong technical understanding of digital platforms and systems.
- Digitalization Expertise: Experience in digitalization, smart manufacturing, and industrial automation is required.
- Technical Understanding: Solid technical understanding of IoT, robotics, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and cybersecurity principles.
- Agile Methodology: Proven ability to work with projects of different sizes and complexity, including experience with methods like SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or similar structured governance.
Meritorious Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in digital transformation, industrial automation, or smart manufacturing is an advantage.
- Meritorious experience in working with AI/ML solutions.
- Experience in change management and working effectively in an international environment.
