Job Description: Warehouse Manager / Production Supervisor
Location: South Windsor, CT
Shift: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Overtime & Weekends required as needed)
Role Summary:
We are looking for a "Warehouse Manager and Production Supervisor" for one of our clients who are a global fintech leader providing essential technology and operations for investing, corporate governance, and communications, powering major financial markets by connecting companies and investors with solutions for asset management, capital markets, wealth management, and more, known for its scale, innovation, and role in processing massive volumes of financial transactions and investor communications.
As the Warehouse Manager and Production Supervisor, you will lead all aspects of labor on the production floor. Your primary focus is to prioritize client mailings, supervise production lines, and delegate tasks to ensure the operation runs efficiently. You will be responsible for maximizing machine uptime and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced mail industry environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Production & Efficiency:
Workflow Management: Supervise production lines and delegate work to ensure machines are running the correct jobs; proactively work to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
Prioritization: Manage the "Must-Mail" list, ensuring all jobs are completed in the correct order. Track "hot jobs" to ensure all strict deadlines are met.
Cross-Department Coordination: Pull jobs from supporting areas (Print Room, Forms, Inkjet, and Scheduling) to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Quality Control: Sign off on all jobs, including the verification of materials, media, and indicia.
2) Warehouse & Logistics:
Inventory Flow: Oversee the receiving of materials into the warehouse and the timely distribution of those materials to the production floor.
Equipment Oversight: Maintain deep knowledge of mail industry equipment, including Bindery, Insertion, and Postal Sort machines.
3) Team Leadership:
Supervision: Lead a team of 15–25 permanent and temporary employees.
Staffing & Retention: Manage staffing levels and participate in the attraction and retention of quality talent.
Training: Ensure all associates and operators receive proper technical and ISO training to perform their functions accurately and safely.
Qualifications:
* Education & Experience:
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Warehouse Experience: At least 3 years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
Leadership Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
* Skills & Requirements:
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Mail Industry production equipment and workflows (Bindery, Insertion, etc.) is highly preferred.
Flexibility: Must be available for a flexible schedule and mandatory overtime, including weekends when production volume requires it.
Management Style: Strong ability to lead diverse teams of both permanent and temporary staff.

Base Salary: Market Competitive
Bonus: This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses.
