Job Description: Senior Project Engineer

Department: Project Engineer - Execution

Experience: 8+ Years
Reporting To: PM – Projects

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a minimum of 8+ years of experience, preferably from reputed construction organizations. The role involves end-to-end execution and supervision of plotting and land development projects, ensuring quality, safety, cost control, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Site Management

  • Manage day-to-day site activities for plotting projects, including roads, drainage, utilities, boundary works, and infrastructure development.

  • Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.

  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, surveyors, and consultants.

Planning & Coordination

  • Assist in preparing work schedules, bar charts, and daily progress reports.

  • Coordinate with planning, contracts, and procurement teams for material and manpower availability.

  • Ensure smooth interfacing between site and HO teams.

Quality & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and safety norms at site.

  • Conduct inspections and ensure rectification of defects.

  • Maintain site records, checklists, and compliance documents.

Billing & Documentation

  • Verify contractor RA bills, measurements, and quantities.

  • Maintain MBs, site registers, drawings, and approvals.

  • Support final measurements and handover documentation.

Stakeholder & Authority Coordination

  • Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and utility agencies as required.

  • Support statutory inspections and approvals related to land development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).

Experience

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in land development / plotting / infrastructure projects.

  • Prior experience with reputed construction companies

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office
