Role Overview
The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, driving proposal submissions, and achieving business acquisition targets for construction projects. The role demands a proactive go-getter who understands the real estate and contracting market.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and secure new business opportunities through market research, networking, digital platforms, and industry participation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with developers, architects, PMCs, consultants, and corporate clients.
• Coordinate with internal technical and estimation teams for tender submissions, quotations, capability profiles, presentations, and proposal documents.
• Plan and execute branding and marketing activities, both online and offline.
• Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments to generate business insights.
• Achieve defined monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain weekly and monthly MIS dashboards and submit progress reports to management.
• Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings. Skills & Competencies
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• High business awareness and understanding of construction/contracting market.
• Ability to build long-term professional relationships.
• Computer proficiency and ability to prepare professional presentations, proposals, and marketing material.
